During the lectures, the audience will become acquainted with the Orthodox church&#8217;s architectural features and interior decoration, as well as the location of each icon in the church and the row of officials in the iconostasis, and will discuss the role of the icon in the life of an Orthodox Christian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Lecture <\/strong><strong>\u00abThe Origin of Iconographic Canons<\/strong><strong>\u00bb<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The introduction lecture dedicated to the history of origin and stages of iconographic tradition formation, acknowledgement with theoretical writing canons, and an explanation of their origin and the reasons they must be adhered to.
